Arrived in Narbonne we are informed that the next train is cancelled (there is a fire further on, near the tracks ! The afternoon is already well advanced... I see that there is a municipal camping in Loupian near Mèze. 70km seems doable, but despite the favorable winds it seems also difficult to arrive before 7pm, closing time of the campsite. I call and get an answering machine. I go anyway and find the guards at the entrance...

The installation almost complete I discover two annoying omissions :

• I forgot my sleeping bag (nothing but that !) Fortunately I have my survival blanket which will be enough to protect from the coolness of the night.
• Also important : the headlamp which should not leave its lace is not there... (unless during the Easter weekend ???)

The next day the winds are not favorable any more East or South I had them in front or disturbing on the main part of the way. I wanted to try to go through the nature reserve but the paths there often seem sandy... I took the main road, and I will try this walk next time. Passage by the ferry of the savage, the crossing of an arm of the Rhône in less than a minute, hardly the time to take two pictures.
