The project :

• Go to Sète by train
• Sète Toulon in three stages (with a visit to Marseille on the way)
• Boat to Ajaccio
• Ajaccio- Boniffacio
• Boat to Sardinia
• Tour of Sardinia
• Back to Corsica : Porto-Vechio - Corte - Bastia
• Boat to Livorno
• Livorno - (Milano ?) - Torino - Avignon
• Return by train ?

In fact this trip "Sardinia" would be rather a trip Camargue - Corsica - Sardinia - Italia 🙂

A rather short trip finally since it will be about 2000 km with a departure at the beginning of May and an arrival probably at the beginning of July.

This time I don’t post my stages in a table in advance : I will see as I go along. I have a working chart that I will keep for myself and that will evolve according to my desires.

To realize the approximate route of this page I used graphhopper.com/maps. The tool has been modernized a bit and for outlining it is more flexible than Komoot.

On the other hand, to define the stage routes more precisely, I use komoot which allows me to better see the difficulties and the type of route.

The last week before the departure, quite calm, was used to :

• to get my bike back in shape : cassette and chain changed (thanks Jean-Luc for the help !), brand new rear tire, saddle also changed...
• Dust off my website on which I made a lot of small evolutions in 4 years, sometimes in the evening while traveling. Here I’ve redone everything, corrected some display glitches, and added a little bit of color (too much ?)

The weather looks good. Everything is ready for the departure 😎
