Still leaving before breakfast... But with my own resources, as these rats didn’t want to bother giving me anything out of schedule.
The weather was fine but not as hot.
At one point I have the choice of following the main road or my track. For the moment the main road goes downhill and my track goes uphill... I follow the track anyway and it’s a bit more hilly but very pleasant and there’s no more noise from the cars.
The sea of greenhouses is still very impressive when you reach the plain ! Two days ago I’d seen crates of tomatoes, but this time it was peppers.
At Demre, where I’m about to join the main road that runs along the coast, I stop off at a self-service restaurant where the cook stands in front of some bowls and presents them to you. It’s cheap, it’s good and it’s a nice change from kebabs, Doner or Pide....
The road is quiet and the wind is not as strong as the other day, so it’s fine.
My disappointment at Kas was that all the beaches are private. Here, along the road, a few pretty little beaches are free of commerce !
