Padjakent- Urmetan

We set off this morning for a short stage. We leave the main road to take a small road that crosses the river. The good road soon turns to gravel, but what a pleasure it is to pass so close to Tajik nature, flourishing in the Zeravshan river valley.
At a break in the shade of a beautiful tree, we eat blackberries. Nobody touches them here and we can eat lots of them, very good ones.
We arrive at the village that was our target because we’d seen a possibility of accommodation on maps.me... but we can’t find it. We set our sights on a town where there might be a hotel, at least that’s what we’d been led to hope. But when we get there, some young people take us to a café where there might be accommodation. Niet. Then we go to a grocery store... also niet. Finally, the village English teacher is asked to find a solution. He looks very annoyed. Finally, some other young people take us to the far end of the village, where it looks like we could be accommodated... But a few yards away comes a truck driver who has been in France recently and invites us in. What’s interesting is that we understand him ! We go with him (back through the village).
Finally, we eat with our host at a neighbor’s house, if we’ve understood correctly...
