Montpezat - Cajarc

Kilometres today:

50

Kilometres since the start: 1530

Departure from Montpezat at 8.30am. The weather is still threatening but finally not a drop until I arrive quite early in the afternoon in Cajarc.
The walk is quite short and not too difficult except for the small dirt track. I hesitated to take it and then, thinking that it looked quite dry and that it was only a kilometre long anyway, I went for it! A few hundred metres further on the sandy road turned into mud that made it difficult to move forward :/ We had to push the bike most of the way.
Back on more pleasant roads we met pilgrims going to Santiago de Compostela. The villages are very welcoming for these pilgrims.
After a short walk in Cajarc I am welcomed by Milan, a warmshowers host in his nice house.
