Vama Veche - Shabla, Bulgaria

2 July 2019, kilometres today: 28
Kilometres since the start: 6009

I’m going back to Bulgaria again. Vama Veche is only two kilometres from the border. At the checkpoint the queue gets longer, people get out of the car and try to understand.
I go up the line and pass. The Romanian police officer takes my Identity Card, scans it and passes it to her Bulgarian colleague who scans it, then starts to enter things on her keyboard, comes back on the card, reenters it... and after the last entry he takes a second look at his screen and returns it to me... It’s clear that it’s not going fast, if added to that there are people who have any problems....
I’m not rushing not to arrive too early, the road is quite pleasant and there are not too many cars as they are slowed down at the border ^^
Arrived in my room, I eat a bite and take a good nap to recover from the night at the campsite (it was a bit musical ^^)
Then I head for the beach near Shabla, 6km away. I read somewhere that they wanted to develop a tourist activity with camping next to the beach. I don’t know where they stand, but there would be work to make the place accessible!
