A slightly cooler day and also wetter at the beginning of the day.... But apart from the cold it’s fine, I take a lot of pictures.

I visit the centre of Neudstadt an der Donau with the idea of having a coffee. I just find a bakery where I buy a doughnut... the many coffees are closed. There is a war memorial, just like in our country for both wars. Many names for the one of 39/45, from 43 but especially in 44 and 45.

I continue and two kilometers later, in Bad Gogging, I come across a huge Patisserie-Café with a lot of people inside. I sit in the warmth and watch as they serve the cheese platters, hams, various creams, glasses of white wine... For me it’ll be a chocolate croissant and a gross Kafee.

As I pass through a hop field I discover once again that the "Eurovelo6 on the Danube" application is offset from the path indicated by the Eurovelo6 panels: there is at least 500m of offset.

I didn’t believe what I had seen when I was preparing my route: before Kelheim a steep climb from 350m to 475m (5%) and a similar descent. I go into the gorges against the current of a crowd coming down from a tourist boat and when I get to the guitoune a lady stops me and asks me where I hope to go with my bike! There is no passage, I show her my app she says "no, no"... I’m turning around. I should have known better. The track of the app crosses the Danube and then makes a perfect right before crossing the Danube again.... There are no bridges in these areas....

Otherwise often the application is interesting... but it should not be enough...

I arrive in Regensburg a little before three o’clock. I’m a little cold, I think if I can, I’ll go to the room and warm up and go out for dinner tonight. The lady answers me that if I pay 5€ extra I can return before 5pm! No, but oh! I went to eat a kebab and visit until it was time to go back to my room:)
