The day started in a very pleasant way: at the beginning a small fresh wind which had no real impact on the driving and from 10am I was able to remove the wind break for the first time!
After Dôle the wind picked up again and I feared it would be like the previous days. But it didn’t last very long, probably because I wasn’t on the axis.
Taking my time, I arrived around four o’clock.
No camping in Besançon because I was afraid of bad weather tomorrow morning. In fact it should be dry at first.
So I went to wait for my landlady to be available in Micaud Park, a stone’s throw from her apartment, a very pleasant park with beautiful trees and the Doubs along.
My hosts are very nice and as it is the first of May and everything is closed they even invited me to share their soup and let me taste the Cancoillotte, a local cheese served hot on potatoes! Excellent.
