After a hearty breakfast I leave a little earlier than yesterday, and the road is shorter, so I should arrive early. The wind is from the south-east, which means that I rarely have it in front of me and it tends to push me.
There is a lot of water, I don’t know if it is irrigation techniques that have caused these canals to be dug or if they are developed marshes, linked to the proximity of the Po.

On the way, I meet a couple of cyclists who invite me to drink coffee at their house in Casalmaggiore. Very nice it gives me a little break and Gianfranco and Lorenza offer me a sign "PIU BICI PIU FELICI" which will be hung on my bike in Cremona.

Gianfranco puts me back on the road to the dike and I leave. A couple of cyclists, more athletic this one, double me... twice in a row! I guess they made a hook or a break... The second time I put myself in their wake and at their speed. That’s several kilometers covered at 30 km/h! After a crossroads I realize that to follow them I forgot to turn to follow my track... no problem in fact we are already near Cremona.

In Cremona I am worried because breakfast is far away and everything is closed this Sunday afternoon. When you arrive in the historical centre (very beautiful) there is plenty to eat.

I then go to the campsite.... Everything is automated; and everything is charged as well: you have to put 50 cents to get two minutes of water in the shower! I haven’t seen this in a long time!
