That’s it, I met the Danube and I’m going to follow it to the Black Sea now. In Tuttlingen, he was born a few kilometers away and it is for the moment a very small river, see the picture at the top of this article.

Departure this morning early enough, I hesitated a little bit because the bike path I had to take was closed for work.
(first photo on the map).

Quite quickly I take off the sweater, then the scarf, and finally I transform my winter jacket back into a windproof jacket (by removing the lining I had put on Sunday)

Then you have to climb a lot and at times it pulls. But once you get to the top, you get a reward - a long, long 15% slope that you can run down... while regularly checking the brakes! That must be where I peaked at 68km/h:-)))

After this steep slope we reach Tuttlingen and join the Danube. Very small river for now.

Then the road follows the Danube more smoothly but there are still some small climbs.
Arrival in Sigmaringen in the early afternoon.
