Lorient to Concarneau

18 July 2020, kilometres today: 65
Kilometres since the start: 2017

Last night I searched the historic center of Lorient... Impossible, no old stones. Everything was destroyed during the war. There are lively neighborhoods, all kinds of restaurants, but no old stones.

I don’t know why I wanted to stop in Quimperlé... I’m looking for information and I can’t find anything very interesting... At the campsite the person at the reception tells me that Quimperlé is for resting... I’ll only make one stopover and then I’ll go straight to Concarneau.

As usual with the route made with graphhoper.com/maps I avoid the main roads. So beautiful country roads, some bicycle paths, some paths...

I don’t really stop in Quimperlé. I take some pictures and then I take a break a little further in Trevoux.
In Trevoux after the snack I have a coffee and I chat with the people intrigued by the bags. Everybody wants to send me to Pont-Aven "trop beau trop mignon!". I look but it almost makes me retrace my steps... Too bad it will be for another time!

I arrive at the campsite quite early. Plenty of time to buy a spare gas bottle and other things...
Then a walk in Concarneau, where I’ll see what I’m doing tomorrow...
