Depressed this morning by checking the weather: 100% chance of rain, all day long.

I leave Bratislava looking with my phone in my pocket: it is not sold as waterproof. So it’s a little more complicated to guide yourself.... And while I have to pass under a motorway interchange, the roads are blocked by works :(
I place myself under the canopy of a gas station to look for my way and the person in charge of the station finally comes out and tells me where to go! Whew, I’m not sure I would have dared to go where he told me, but this is the right way.

Then no confusion the path follows the Danube.
Only the barriers that regularly cut the track and in general there is a small passage to get around... but it’s not very practical.

The Eurovelo interrupted by these barriers

At this barrier, I didn’t really see the space on the side of the bollard. Then I ring the bell on the device designed for that. I rang three times and it never answered. I’m a little worshipped when I see the rotten path as an alternative down there.... So I look a little better and finally it goes to the side. I don’t know if a family with children would pass... but for me it was fine.
800 m further on we arrive on a large lock and there the signs forbidden to bicycles are very clear but there is a beautiful cemented track which goes down. I’m following her.

About thirty kilometers before Komarno the track becomes of poor quality: a muddy track filled with small stones, it is necessary to zigzag between puddles, gravel, mud wheel tracks of tractors... Difficult.

I can no longer find an open café but in a village a small hut sheltered from the rain. I’m getting some strength from it. Komarno is not far away.
