I knew that if there was a difficult stage, it would be here in Albania!
I suffered a little on this stage. At the beginning everything was going well, with mostly descent once the Albanian border was crossed. But I arrive around noon and a half at the 50 km at the bottom of the descent to Fierze. It is hot and heavy: it will take me an hour and a half to reach the top of the first hill, you can’t say that I swallowed the 440 meters of altitude difference ^^ All along the road it climbs steep with passages at 10%. And it will take me another two and a half hours to get to my hotel.

I had considered camping, not finding accommodation available. It wouldn’t have been the right day: from the beginning of the afternoon the storms threatened, it was roaring in the valley next door. Then it finally happened on my side. The storm quickly moved away but the rain came. At first I protected the mobile, put the helmet back on and protected the bags and my backpack. The rain barely refreshed me. But in the last hour I also covered myself it was really raining and around the bends there were sometimes gusts of wind. But also to camp there it would have been necessary to solve the drinking water problem: I had whistled my liter and a half of water!

Finally I arrive at the hotel where I can at the same time solve the problem of the exchange of Albanian money, the lek.
