Decazeville - Espalion

25 June 2021, kilometres today: 83
Kilometres since the start: 1530

This morning I left my apartment at about 9.15am.
A bit of a steep start to get out of Decazeville but rewarded with a nice view and then downhill.
A quiet ride along the Lot cycle route. Impossible to get lost as there are signs everywhere!
After Entraygues-sur-Truyère it climbs well and steadily between 5 and 7%, but on arrival the cycle route makes a detour to "Notre Dame des Hauteurs" a chapel built in 1945 with a magnificent view!
The descent is the occasion to do some speeding...when the visibility and the state of the road allow it!

Arrival at the small family hotel at about 4.30 pm.
