Departure from Budapest following a fairly simple path to find: change of bank at the green bridge (Liberty Bridge), change of bank two bridges further on, then follow the Danube... But after the second shoreline change in fact it was easy to make a mistake! Cul de sac, truck lanes... and finally I find the track but of uneven quality: paved, then tarred road...

I pass through the town of Cespel because I saw bicycle repairers there and I would like to grease my chain... I can’t find them. So then I drive for a while on an unpleasant road with a lot of traffic. But anyway, the Eurovelo around here is not always very good.

Finally I arrive in a residential area and the Eurovélo street runs along a rather calm arm of the Danube, a little marshy and a paradise for frog and water hen and fishermen. Then a little before arriving at my stage of the day this arm reaches the main one.

A little rain this afternoon. Then that stops, after a while I take off the rain pants... and a few minutes later... it reappears...

I am talking to a young Austrian who left Vienna three days ago. We look at the itinerary together because the track passes through the grass and it doesn’t look good. We can make a detour and drive by what I do. A little further on the track is quite nice but I drove a while next door, on the main road with the cars because I missed the junction ^^
