A beautiful day which starts with a breakfast facing the summits of the Pyrenees cleared!

The clouds will come later to hide the summits but without spoiling the day.

No shop in the villages I cross so I make the detour to Lannemezan to buy a sandwich. So I stay a bit longer on the road.

At the moment of taking the path that follows my track, I have a moment of hesitation: the path is a kind of fire-break with protruding stones all over the surface... The alternative is to continue on the road with the cars. The weather is fine and I choose the path, which should not be more than a kilometre and a half long. But goodbye to the vertiginous descent: it will be with my hands on the brakes and zigzagging between the rocks!

I arrive near Tarbes quite early and I take a break at the lake of Arrêt-Darré. A nice ice cream in a bar near the water. I forget to take pictures ;)
