The weather forecast was for a 70% chance of rain, but I spent the morning about dry! Short journey once again, about sixty kilometers.
I take the bridge in Niederranna to be on the right side to see the Schlogen ring and not take a ferry. But from below you can’t completely see the 180° loop made by the Danube at this point. The pictures I saw were probably taken from the top of the hill. Too bad, but it’s already very pretty even if it’s not as spectacular.
I have to pass a couple of geese with their young, one of the geese rushes on me by blowing and flapping their wings... I accelerate! (sorry no picture ^^^)
Untermühl is a very small hamlet with a hotel (the one where I stayed), a ferryboat and some houses.
Tomorrow I thought I could go back to Linz on the same shore. While walking this afternoon I see a sign announcing the end of the cycle path and that you have to take the ferry! Indeed a little further on the narrow and muddy path climbs the hill: it must be hard even on a mountain bike!
Tomorrow I’ll take the ferry:)
