Today a short stage, a little less than 60km to go.

Yesterday and early this morning I had to fight with the reservations. What’s left in Linz is unaffordable and I didn’t yet have an answer for the room, not even well placed, of airbnb. So I do my route again and change the stages according to what I find for accommodation while staying on the Danube. So I won’t spend a whole day in Linz, but I’ll manage to have lunch there. The next steps in Austria: Untermühl, Grein, Melk, and Vienna where I found accommodation that looks nice enough and relatively central to spend a full day as a tourist. I even booked Bratislava!

Arriving in Passau, the city of the three rivers (the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz meet there) along the Danube is also a major traffic route, I drive several kilometers in the noise of traffic. But when you enter the streets it is a quite pleasant city with many very pretty pedestrian streets.

The weather remains changing, rather cold and some showers. But I can get through the drops!
