Departure from Argentat a little before nine o’clock... I hope to get through the drops today. This will be true until Aynac, then the drops become increasingly tight and it’s raining almost until I arrive.
A very pleasant cycle route along the Dordogne. At Beaulieu sur Dordogne (village of Altilla) I join a fairly busy departmental road.
I discover Brétenoux where I have the chance to spend a market day.
Then from Saint-Céré to Aynac, a small road that climbs a little. I try to avoid the departmental roads that are too busy but I avoid one of them and end up on the other. Not very pleasant with the cars and trucks next to me, and under the rain.
I arrive at Carole and Mathieu’s place quite early, at 4.30 pm...
